Investing in newborn, children, and family portraiture is one of the most important investments we can make.   I was asked recently what I would save from my burning home if I could choose just one thing.  Without hesitation I thought – my pictures.   Our family portraits hold a very dear place in our hearts, and being intentional about capturing important milestones in our lives is often overlooked.  I feel honored to be able to share and capture such special times with families and to be able to watch their families grow.    We will never look back with regret when we stop for a moment and make time stand still with the wonder of photography.  So take a look around here and once you decide to hire me to capture your most precious moments, know that you can feel confident that I can capture what we all want to remember the most.  Whether it’s the tiny details of your newborn baby, your little girl twirling in the grass, your son throwing rocks into a stream, your full of personality senior who is about to jump from the nest and begin college, or the generations of a family all together to share a special moment.

Investment for each session type includes our time together at our session, professional editing of all of your beautiful images, and a one-click download link through PASS for you to save all of your digital images. This is usually delivered to you via e-mail within just a few days of your session.  Your digital images are archived on this photo-sharing site for 10 years.

A sneak peek of your images will be available on Facebook immediately after your session.  Feel free to use these as your profile pictures, or share them on your wall, but I respectfully ask that you not crop out my logo, print or save them as they are not print quality files.

A deposit of half your fee is required to book your session date with Timeless and Treasured, and the other half is due upon completion of your session.

WHERE TO PRINT:

When you are e-mailed a link to your PASS gallery of images for downloading, there is also an option to order prints for a great price 4x6 -$1, 5x7-$2 and 8x10-$4.  The prints you order through PASS come from my professional lab and are of the highest quality.  You do not have to order prints through PASS, you can print them wherever you like.   However, when it comes to printing your images, always remember – you get what you pay for.  I do have a professional lab that is calibrated to my monitor for ordering prints or wall portraits.   I highly recommend my professional lab for large scale wall portraits.  PASS is always adding new products so check back frequently to see all the options!

If you choose to print your images yourself, Mpix.com seems to have the most consistent color and quality.  Shutterfly.com has wonderful photo books and other products that have color consistency and professional quality as well.   Try to stay away from places like Wal-Mart, Costco, Walgreens, etc.  You can print an image at their lab four weeks in a row and have four different results.    Never choose the “auto correct” feature no matter where you print as this will result in an alteration of your image.

A photographer handing you a CD of images to let you print yourself is much like an author handing you a half-written novel to let you finish writing.  Most photographers have strong opinions of letting clients print their own images, but as the digital world progresses, most clients find themselves wanting a digital copy on file even more than the print itself.  This is simply the direction the photography industry is heading.  That being said, please remember it is very important to choose a reputable merchant to print your images.
